Deluxe King Room stands out with well-furnished interiors, creating a cozy yet stylish ambiance. Proximity to Alnwick Gardens and the castle makes it an ideal spot for explorers.
The limited room selection could pose a challenge for larger groups or families looking to stay together. While the attentive touches like fresh fruit and chocolates are nice, some may find them a bit excessive depending on preferences. The shower pressure varied a bit, which could be a minor irritation for those who prioritize a strong shower experience.

West Acre House is a gem in Alnwick. I loved the warm welcome from Bruce and Janette. They were so friendly, serving tea and cake on arrival in a lovely garden room. The breakfast choice was impressive, with options available every morning. I tried the crispy bacon, perfectly cooked. The Oriental room I stayed in offered beautiful views. It was spacious, clean, and had comfy beds. Special touches, like sherry and snacks in the room, made my stay even better. Although the location was peaceful, the 10-minute walk to the town center was a bit longer than I anticipated after a long day of exploring. I felt the room could use more space for luggage, and one of the pillows was a bit too firm for my liking. a fantastic stay but could improve small details.
